THE FLYING BLUE FREQUENT FLYER PROGRAM

WHAT IS A MILE?

The Mile is a universal unit for measuring distance by air, and by extension the unit used for all frequent flyer program. With Flying Blue, the Miles you earn and that you can use for awards are called Award Miles.
 

HOW ARE FLYING BLUE AWARD MILES EARNED?

• By travelling on eligible flights with BABOO, AIR FRANCE, KLM, SkyTeam and other Flying Blue partner airlines,
• or by using the services of Flying Blue non-airline partners as specified in the Flying Blue mileage accrual tables.

HOW ARE FLYING BLUE AWARD MILES CALCULATED?

Miles are awarded according to:
 

• distance flown (determined by actual distance, set amount of miles or minimum mileage award),
• booking class (1).
   

(1) Certain fares or classes do not earn Flying Blue Award Miles. Award Miles earned with non-airline partners are specified in the Flying Blue mileage accrual tables.
 

EARN AWARD MILES BY GIVING YOUR FLYING BLUE CARD NUMBER WHEN:

• making reservations with BABOO, AIR FRANCE, KLM, SkyTeam or other Flying Blue airline partners,
• checking in at the airport,
• using the services of non-airline Flying Blue partners.
   

Your Flying Blue Award Miles are valid for 20 months and can easily be extended in validity by taking an AIR FRANCE, KLM, or SkyTeam flight at least once every 20 months.

HOW TO USE YOUR MILES:

With your Flying Blue Award Miles, you can earn Award Tickets on BABOO, AIR FRANCE, KLM, SkyTeam and other Flying Blue airline partners. You can also use your Award Miles on hotel stays, car rentals and many other services.
