Baboo has become a partner airline of Flying Blue, the AIR FRANCE-KLM frequent flyer programme that in turn is linked to all SkyTeamalliance airline programmes. Thanks to this far-reaching and attractive package, Baboo will be able to offer its customers a complete range of advantages and benefits.
Baboo passengers who are members of the Flying Blue programme will be able to earn and burn Award Miles on all Baboo flights (except the Geneva-Lugano and Zurich-Bucharest routes) and on all eligible flights with AIR FRANCE, KLM, SkyTeam airlines and other Flying Blue partners.

As previously announced in earlier issues, the long-awaited Swiss POP bottle designed exclusively for Baboo by one of l’ECAL’s graphic artists is now available to Smart clients on board. Baboo, Pommery and l’ECAL joined forces to celebrate the object’s launch and organised a visit to Baboo’s new destination – London – based on the themes of art and design. William Ouy Lim-Do, winner of the project’s design competition, was awarded a prize for his work during the flight. The bottle features a humorous combination of the Swiss flag and champagne bubbles.
100 FLIGHTS A WEEK IN PARTNER SHIP WITH ALITALIA
In order to increase the number of flights to Italy, a pivotal destination in the airline’s strategy, Baboo continues to pursue its policy of alliance by entering into partnership with Alitalia. Baboo’s Geneva-Florence, Geneva-Milan, Milan-Marseille, Geneva-Naples, Geneva-Venice and Venice-Nice flights are now sold using the flight numbers of both companies. The Geneva-Rome route’s code sharing policy means that 4
daily flights in each direction are available to passengers, with two flights on Baboo and two others on Alitalia. Molto bene!
CONCERT ON BOARD
Even on a Baboo flight, one doesn’t expect to see travellers singing along to a ballad and waving their arms in the air. But it really happened on December 8th somewhere over the Alps between Nice and Geneva. Belgian singerMilow played acoustic guitar and sang in particular his hit song “Ayo Technology” in the aisle of the plane. This exceptional concert was organised by Baboo, Nice’s Kiss FM radio station and the Nice Airport. Kiss FM held a contest on the radio and 10 fans won tickets for the flight. A moving experience followed by Milow’s signing autographs.
