YIELD ANALYST


Baboo is a growing Geneva based airline with a network of 23 European destinations. As part of our expansion plan we extended our fleet up to 5 planes in 2008 (Dash8 Q400, EMB 190). Therefore we are actively seeking to complete our dynamic Commercial team with a:Yield Analyst

In this role you will be responsible for setting the optimal fares and seat allocations in order to optimize the revenue.

Main responsibilities:

- Review and analyze the prices history, the booking profiles, the market surveys, and competitor analysis in order to come up with the optimal strategic or tactic price (promotion) for each market.
- Monitor, report and compare fares: the load percentage and the revenue to the rotation cost (flight cost) in order to fine tune the commercial strategy.
- Administer the host reservation system in order to make necessary update (price, flight, profiles of the classes, the destination) in order to ensure proper running of the reservation system so that clients can book for the flight.
- Coordinate the flight status with the operations department in order to update the web and inform the call centre department to make sure that clients are aware of the changes.
- Report the demand on destinations in order to give recommendations related to the planning and commercial departments in terms of frequencies of the existing flights
- Prepare special quotations for groups (6-74 persons), subscriptions (frequent flyer for corporate and individual)  and escapes (packages) in order to provide competitive prices to the sales team
- Prepare the sales and marketing (promotions) reports and present them to the management. Make appropriate recommendations.
- Coordinate the code share agreement

Minimum requirements:

- B.B.A  - Bachelor degree in aviation is a plus
- General understanding of aircraft operation
- Previous experience in revenue management
- Airmax knowledge is a plus
- Good knowledge in the aviation field
- Very good Microsoft knowledge, Excel and Access
- Advanced Reporting skills 
- Very strong analytical skills.
- Strong ability to analyse
- Fluency in English and French
- Swiss citizen or EU

SALES MANAGER, SOUTHERN EUROPE


Baboo is a Geneva based airline with a network of 23 European destinations. As part of our expansion plans, we are actively seeking to complete our dynamic Sales team with a : Sales Manager, Southern Europe

In this role you will be responsible for promoting the "Baboo experience & values" in online countries of Southern Europe (France, Italy, Spain), developing Sales in France and maximizing international sales by promoting sales activities through efficient support to GSA, according to the company goals and strategies.

Main Responsibilities

- Analyze the local market (competitor's capacity / pricing, structure of the distribution, marketing / media, etc…)
- Design, collect, analyze RFP for potential Baboo GSA and make recommendation
- Assist the GSA in developing and implementing Sales and Marketing plans
- Co-ordinate the implementation of the technical support (Sabre) to the GSA.
- Checking on invoices and groups bookings related to the GSA.
- Communication company update to the GSA on a regular basis.
- Visit the Trade and Corporate Key Accounts.
- Implement adapted incentive program for the travel trade.
- Conclude corporate agreement with Key Corporate players.
- Develop Abos and group sales
- Maintain and develop business relationship with travel chains HQ.
- Analyze and report the travel trade sales performance.
- Analyze and take adequate measures to improve directionality
- Represent Flybaboo at major trade shows

Requirements

- Bachelor degree
- IATA / Travel agent diploma
- Min. 7 years experience in the travel industry
- Previous work experience for an airline GSA or a IATA airline
- Understands the Travel industry, GSA services, sales processes and complex technical issue and processes.
- Advance knowledge of MS office, and at least 1 GDS.
- Fluent in French, Italian and English. Spanish is an asset.
- Excellent presentation and education
- Organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Proven communication skills including tact and diplomacy
- Goal oriented
- Can effectively communicate and apply the organization's mission, vision & strategic goals
- Team player
- Willing to work in Nice with regular travels into the area and to Geneva HQ

GROUND HANDLING ASSISTANT

Requirements:

- 2 years Experience in Airport Ground Handling
- Experience using check-in systems
- Fluent in English and French (other languages a plus)
- Well organized, meticulous, able to work on their own initiative
- Ability to recognize and deal with challenges promptly and efficiently
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Computer literate
- Swiss or European nationality

Major responsibilities :

- Responsible for ensuring the flybaboo product is delivered consistently to demanding service level standards and on time performance targets.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements
- Strict application of all operational, safety & security, immigration policies and procedures.
- Act as point of contact for clients
- Taking responsibility for actions and following these through to completion
- Ownership of a robust communication process within client supervisor’s team and staff
