DISPATCHER
FLybaboo is a growing Geneva based airline with a network of 16 European destinations. As part of the expansion plans the company will extend its fleet up to 7 planes in 2008 (Dash8 300 – 400, EMB 190). Therefore we are actively seeking to complete its dynamic Operations’ team.

Major Responsibilities :

- Analyses present and future operations, pre-plan the numbers of flight and cabin staff, and shall, in due time, provide the data to the Flight Operations Manager and the Accountable Manager for further action.
- Coordinates and takes decisions of the daily flight operations.
- Establishes in due time an operational plan in case of irregularities
- Control of the presence/absence of all crew members
- Plan, monitor and file all deadhead activities
- Issue tickets for duty and deadhead purposes
- Be responsible for all flight operations related electronic data processing and to contract for such
- Calculate flight times, block times, burn offs and day loads for planned routes for the purpose of planning (OFP)
- Ensure that aeroplanes are operated in accordance with Company policies and procedures, as laid down in the OM
- Control, analyse and store records, flight documents and data
- Direct and plan a leave roster, in cooperation with the respective Chief of Crew Departments
- Manage the statistics for the “on time performance” on a weekly basis.
- Position based in Geneva (Switzerland)

Requirements :

- Minimum 3 years experience in that field of activity or similar.
- Ideally licensed as Dispatcher (FAA/JAA).
- All current legislations (JAR/ICAO) applicable to the operation
- Perfect knowledge of Flight Duty regulation (OM A Chap 7)
- Know where to find regulation that must be applied on daily and unscheduled services.
- Keep current on all legal national and international provisions, relating to the flight operations
- Knowledge of SITA messages systems
- English and French are a must, other languages are a plus
